I envision this film opening with Shira (who will play the girl in the opening) jogging in her neighborhood. A happy 70's pop song playing foreshadowing the events to come. Im thinking maybe of a voiceover before my establishing shot? Something like: "On July 19, 1978 I disappeared etc, etc." Music starts playing, shira is running, maybe I edit in a camera flash sound effect and freeze the frame so it looks like someone is taking pictures of her, watching her. I still have to think about those things because I'm not sure, but what I do know is that I want the setting to be believable. To do so, everything has to correlate to the time era. All the way down to what Shira will be wearing.
